Profile

Gertrud Hack, Dipl.-Betriebswirtin

Gertrud Hack has been advising banks, financial services providers, industry and healthcare companies in strategic corporate communications, financial and capital market communications and marketing since 1996. She has more than 20 years of international experience in communications management and in managing multicultural teams, both on corporate and consulting side.

As Head of Corporate Communications, Vice President and Press Officer at a global bank, she gained expertise in issue and change management, as well as in multi-country project and budget management. As a marketing consultant, she advised one of the largest exchange organizations in the field of market data and, as a key account for regulatory services, she supported the digitalization of marketing communications: from channel and content management, digital publishing, social media, PR, e-learning, to webinars and visual communication.

In addition, Gertrud Hack is a guest lecturer at the IUBH in Berlin on “Negotiation skills in a culturally diverse business environment”. She supports the business development of a German-Spanish cooperation to promote the mobility of European workers. She worked with a Canadian mobility company on executive communication and the introduction of an internal social collaboration system. She gained start-up experience as a marketing and PR director with a European online broker. Before she started her own business in 2009 with HACK COMMUNICATIONS, she held further senior positions at various agencies and organizations.

Gertrud Hack studied international marketing and management in England and Germany. She holds a master degree in business administration and economics (diploma).

Network

Well connected

In an increasingly fragmented world of digitized communication, it would be an illusion to cover the entire spectrum of services. If our customers’ projects require resources from different disciplines, we can rely on a network of “cherry-picked” specialists in various disciplines – providing in their area, what we would expect from ourselves. This network has evolved through successful common projects in various contexts. Thus, the performances of our different partners are interlinked, supplementing and adding industry expertise and competencies where needed – dedicated and flexible.
